Vision, Mission & Values

Stonnington Church of Christ is a community who share a personal relationship with God through faith in His risen Son, Jesus Christ. Their identity and their purpose are defined & shaped by Him. Their Vision defines their identity. Their Mission describes their purpose.

Fulfilling their destiny in God through faithful obedience and integrity as His people is their passion.

Stonnington recognise their dependence upon the inspiration & indwelling presence of God's Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit actively working in their lives, they are incapable of fulfilling their destiny. Stonnington recognise the Bible to be inspired and authoritative as the source of their knowledge of God & His purposes for their lives. God's love for all mankind, they believe, defines & shapes relationships and the way we live in our world. This way of life leads to hope & fulfilment in the individual. It leads to safe and harmonious communities that nurture healthy families and positive relationships.

Different to many expressions of the Church, Stonnington seeks to be an open, organic network of Spirit lead believers who are vibrant and alive to God... growing and multiplying with their communities, enriching the world around them.

To love God wholeheartedly by caring for one another deeply and leading others into a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ. (Matt 22:37-40; 28:18-20)
